Laxman Hake Slam Manoj Jarange Patil On Maratha Reservation

The issue of Maratha reservation has once again created a storm in the state. Manoj Jarange Patil has announced to go on a hunger strike in Mumbai from August 29. Responding to this, Laxman Hake reacted in strong language at a public press conference today, Wednesday. "The government should not give much importance to Jarange, the question of the existence of our OBC community has become serious," Hake said.

Hake alleged that, "OBC reservation is on the verge of ending due to the distribution of about 8 lakh Kunbi certificates. If two crore Marathas are included in OBC, our constitutional framework will be broken. The Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister will have to answer for this," he alleged.

On the other hand, Manoj Jarange has also issued a direct warning to the government in his own style. "If our demands are not accepted by August 28, either the chariot of victory or the chariot of the funeral procession will return from Mumbai," he said, expressing his determination to continue the agitation.
