'Lokshahi Marathi' channel has organized a program called 'Lokshahi Marathwada Samvad 2025' in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. During this program, many luminaries of Marathwada were also felicitated. What is the vision of political leaders for the development and future of Marathwada? Also, what should be the roadmap for the development of Marathwada? There has been a detailed discussion on this. On this occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Bhagwat Karad gave detailed information about the Waqf Board Act.

Dr. Bhagwat Karad said, "Marathwada is a backward part of Maharashtra. On September 28, 1953, it was a Marathi speaking state. Especially Madhya Pradesh, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Maharashtra became from this. But we, the people of Marathwada, were under the Nizamshahi rule in Hyderabad. We got independence one year and 13 days late. We joined Maharashtra unconditionally. We are joining the development of Marathwada through you, congratulations to you."

Karad then answered Imtiaz Jalil's question regarding the Waqf Board. He said, "I want to ask Imtiazbhai, is it definitely written in the Waqf Board Act? That is, wherever the land was found. If there was a dispute, they had to go to the Waqf Board. Or they had to go to the High Court. In this way, thousands of lands in the country have become disputed. The lands of the Railways and Defense Department belong to the government, but the Waqf Board has more area than Pakistan. Waqf means donation. Who can donate? I can donate the wealth I have. You used to make the lands of the Waqf Board controversial for no reason. You used to draw the results your way and sell those lands to a rich man. This was started in the Waqf Board. Thousands of acres of land. If you look at the income of the entire country, it was Rs 167 crore. The income that will be received from it should be given to women of the Muslim community and poor and needy students. The same is the policy of the Center. The money from these lands should be used for good work."
