Mayuri Jagtap Makes Serious Allegations Against The Hagawane Family

In a recent interview with Lokshahi Marathi, Mayuri revealed the torment she suffered at the hands of her in-laws, including her brother-in-law Shashank Hagavane, and her mother-in-law.

Mayuri described how, despite the support of her husband, she was continuously harassed by her in-laws over trivial matters. “My in-laws would constantly demand things and harass me over every small detail. Even the saree I bought for the wedding was decided based on the opinion of my sister-in-law, Karishma Hagavane,” she said.

She further added that her daughter-in-law, Vaishnavi Hagavane, was aware of the harassment she was enduring, but was too afraid to speak out. “I tried asking Vaishnavi several times, but she was scared to open up,” Mayuri explained.

Mayuri accused her in-laws of being responsible for Vaishnavi’s tragic death, alleging that they had subjected both of them to immense emotional and physical abuse. “No action is being taken against them due to political pressure,” she claimed. Mayuri also recounted incidents of domestic violence she faced at the hands of her brother-in-law, Shashank. “He once took my mobile phone when I tried to record the abuse. He threw stones at me and beat me,” she said.

As she became emotional during the interview, Mayuri shared the cruel treatment she endured. “The Hagavane family didn’t want me. They threatened me with my husband’s second marriage, telling me to leave. I endured so much pain because of them,” she said.

In a heartfelt moment, Mayuri expressed her desire to care for Vaishnavi's child. “If I am entrusted with the responsibility of Vaishnavi's baby, I am ready to take care of it with full love and responsibility. I will be its mother,” she said, offering solace amidst the ongoing family turmoil.

Mayuri’s revelations have added fuel to the already tense situation, with many now questioning the actions of the Hagavane family and demanding justice for both Vaishnavi and Mayuri.
