MHADA Lottery 2025 : Over 5,000 Houses Up for Grabs in Thane and Beyond

The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) fulfills the dream of thousands of citizens for a home every year. MHADA is running several projects in various cities across the state, providing affordable housing to citizens. Now, the dream of Thane residents for a home will be fulfilled, as MHADA Thane Board will soon conduct a lottery for more than 5,000 houses. MHADA has announced this information today, and under the Konkan Housing and Area Development Board, 5,285 apartments in Thane city and district, Vasai (Palghar district), and 77 plots in Oros (Sindhudurg district), Kulgaon-Badlapur have been released for sale under various housing schemes. The registration and application process for this lottery will commence with the 'Go-Live' program on Monday, July 14, 2025, at 1 PM, under the auspices of MHADA's Vice President and Chief Executive Officer Sanjeev Jaiswal.

The deadline for online applications for the lottery is until 11:59 PM on August 13, 2025, and the draft list of accepted applications will be published on the official website of 'MHADA' at https://housing.mhada.gov.in on August 21, 2025, at 6:00 PM. The final list of accepted applications for the lottery will be published on the MHADA website on September 1, 2025, at 6:00 PM. During the Ganesh festival, while Lord Ganesha is seated in homes, the computerized lottery of eligible applications will be announced at the Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Auditorium in Thane on September 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
