The monsoon session of Parliament begins today. This session will continue until August 21. Following the Pahalgam attack, the first session of Parliament begins today, and in this monsoon session, discussions are likely to take place on topics such as 'Operation Sindoor', mediation claims by US President Donald Trump, and voter re-verification in Bihar.

Against this backdrop, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju stated that the government is ready to discuss all important issues according to the rules. Meanwhile, leaders of the 'India' alliance have expressed the expectation that the Prime Minister should make a statement in Parliament on important topics. In the all-party meeting, 54 members from 51 political parties were present.

The opposition insisted that there should be a discussion on the issues related to Operation Sindoor and that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should respond to the discussion in the House, as demanded by the Congress. Therefore, it is anticipated that the first week of the session may be stormy.
