Nanasaheb Gaikwad Rolls Royce to Range Rover Seized
Gaikwad’s 'Mayavinagari' Uncovered
Police investigations have exposed Gaikwad’s opulent lifestyle, reportedly built on exorbitant interest lending and illegal land grabs. Pune Police have seized a fleet of luxury cars from Gaikwad’s possession, all flaunting the vanity number ‘4444’, symbolizing both status and the questionable wealth behind it.
Vehicles Seized by Pune Police:
Mercedes-Benz – JH 12 F 4444
Rolls-Royce – MH 12 RF 4444
Range Rover – JH 10 K 4444
Ford Endeavour – MH 12 TH 4444
Mitsubishi Pajero – MH 12 HB 4444
Audi – MH 14 GY 4444
The seizure has left even police officials stunned at the scale of Gaikwad’s luxurious assets, which appear disproportionate to any legitimate source of income.
Criminal Past and Ongoing Investigation
Gaikwad, along with his son Ganesh Gaikwad, has a criminal history. Four years ago, both were arrested under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) by Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad Police. Despite prior legal action, they reportedly resumed illegal activities and allegedly misled police authorities over the past several weeks.
Investigators claim that Gaikwad accumulated massive wealth through predatory lending practices and unlawful land acquisition, exploiting vulnerable citizens. His flamboyant lifestyle is now being probed as the proceeds of crime.
Extortion Allegations Against IPS Officer
Parallel to this, IPS officer Jalindar Supekar is facing extortion charges, with Gaikwad having accused him of demanding crores in ransom. However, with Gaikwad’s own credibility now in question, the case has become increasingly murky.
A Web of Crime and Corruption
The Vaishnavi Hagawane case, which began as an investigation into a tragic death, has since spiraled into a nexus of high-profile corruption, extortion, and organized crime. Both Supekar and Gaikwad are now central figures in this widening investigation.
As the police dig deeper, more revelations are expected in the coming days, with public and political pressure mounting for a fair, transparent, and independent inquiry into all facets of the case.
