Mumbai Local: 'Pick a ticket and win Rs 50,000', a unique initiative for passengers

A campaign called 'Pick a Ticket and Win the Lottery' has been launched. According to the information that has come to light, Indian Railways is facing a huge problem due to people travelling without tickets. Now the Railways has taken a good step towards this. Indian Railways has launched a scheme called 'Lucky Yatra' for ticket buyers. Under this, this special scheme has been prepared for eight weeks for ticket-pass holders. FCB Interface Communication Private Limited is participating in this scheme and will distribute prize money to the lucky passengers. This scheme has been prepared as a special initiative to inculcate the habit of travelling by purchasing tickets among Mumbai local passengers and to thank the disciplined passengers.

Who benefits from this scheme?

Under this scheme, all types of tickets including monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual passes will be considered valid. This scheme is open to all categories of passengers. No charges will be levied from railway passengers under this special initiative. This entire scheme is sponsored by a private organization. The prize money will be given by a private organization.

Passengers should travel with railway tickets. For this, passengers have several options available to purchase tickets. These include ticket counters, ATVMs, mobile tickets, online tickets and smart cards.
