On the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and his family have finally moved into Varsha Bungalow. After months of waiting, the Chief Minister, his wife Amruta Fadnavis and their daughter have entered Varsha Bungalow. This new residence of Chief Minister Fadnavis can be important for the implementation of various important decisions of the state government. The decision to move to Varsha Bungalow has sparked discussions in political and administrative circles. Amruta Fadnavis has given this information through ex post. Along with this, she has also announced that her daughter Divija has secured 92.60 percent marks in the 10th standard examination.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has resided in the 'Sagar' bungalow in Malabar Hills, Mumbai, before settling in the Varsha bungalow. This bungalow was provided to him as his official residence in 2019, after he was appointed as the Leader of Opposition in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.

After taking oath as the Chief Minister, Fadnavis delayed moving to the 'Varsha' bungalow. He had cited the reason for this as his daughter's Class 10th board exams. Finally, on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya on 30 April 2025, he decided to settle down in the 'Varsha' bungalow with his wife Amruta and daughter. 'Varsha' bungalow is the official Chief Minister's residence of the state of Maharashtra, located in the elite area of Malabar Hills.
