Naxalite Killed in Encounter in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma

An encounter occurred between security forces and Naxalites in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. In this encounter, the security forces eliminated a Naxalite. It is reported that during the search at the encounter site, the troops found the body of a Naxalite along with a large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives.

In the forest on the Sukma-Dantewada inter-district border, a joint team of security personnel and Maoists exchanged gunfire. Three soldiers of the security forces were injured in the IED explosion during the encounter and have been sent to the medical center.

In the forest on the Sukma-Dantewada border, the Special Task Force, District Reserve Force, and CRPF launched a joint operation against the Naxalites. It is reported that a search operation was undertaken after receiving information that Maoists were hiding in the area.
