Operation Sindoor Confusion: Rahul Gandhi Criticizes Modi's Silence
Former US President Donald Trump's claim of brokering a ceasefire between India and Pakistan has once again stirred political controversy. In this context, Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has directly criticized the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Rahul Gandhi said, "On one hand, it is said that Operation Sindoor is underway, while on the other hand, its closure is announced. Trump says he ended Operation Sindoor. This means something is amiss, there's something fishy."
He further said, "Speaking on foreign policy, I want to say that the policy we had has been completely torn apart by the BJP government. Today, the Prime Minister cannot make any clear statement. Trump has said 25 times that he brokered the India-Pakistan ceasefire, but the Prime Minister has not responded even once."
Rahul Gandhi raised the question, "Will the Prime Minister say that the ceasefire happened because of Trump? He won't say it. But this is the truth, we cannot escape from it."
He also emphasized that this is not just a matter of ceasefire, we need to discuss the defense industry and Operation Sindoor as well. However, he criticized the government's stance on the country's defense and foreign policy as extremely unclear and questionable.
Due to this entire issue, the opposition has started a strong and fierce criticism of the central government and especially Prime Minister Modi's silence. Now everyone is waiting to see what response the government will give.
