Pahalgam Attack : China Support Pakistan Us Said We Are With India

China has expressed support for Pakistan over the Pahalgam terror attack. Meanwhile, amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth spoke to Defense Minister Rajnath Singh over the phone on Thursday, May 1, 2025. He said his country supports India's right to self-defense and the fight against terrorism.

Rajnath Singh told Hegseth that Pakistan has been exposed as a rogue state that promotes global terrorism and destabilizes the region. According to an official statement, during the discussion, the Defence Minister said that the world can no longer turn a blind eye to terrorism.

In a post on social media, Rajnath Singh's department said that the US stands in solidarity with India and supports India's right to self-defense. He also noted that the US government has strong support for India in the fight against terrorism.

Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zedong met Shahbaz Sharif in Pakistan's capital Islamabad on Thursday. During this time, China has spoken of supporting Pakistan. Earlier too, supporting Shahbaz Sharif's statement, China had supported an independent inquiry into the Pahalgam attack. China has always been providing shelter to Pakistani terrorists.
