Pahalgam Terror Attack Is an Attack on Humanity says PM Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday strongly condemned the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, calling it “an attack on humanity.” He assured the nation that those responsible for the heinous act have received a fitting response from the country.

The Prime Minister made these remarks while addressing the event “Sikkim@50: Where Progress Meets Purpose and Nature Nurtures Development” via video conference from Bagdogra, West Bengal.

Speaking about the incident, Modi said, “The nation has given a befitting reply to those behind the Pahalgam terror attack. This was not just an attack on a location or people, but an attack on humanity itself.”

During his address, the Prime Minister also highlighted the importance of tourism, especially in the context of Sikkim. “All the people of Sikkim know very well the power of tourism. Tourism is not just a form of entertainment, but a celebration of diversity,” he said.

The Prime Minister’s remarks come amid national outrage over the attack, which targeted a tourist area and has drawn widespread condemnation. Authorities continue to investigate the incident and enhance security measures in the region.
