PM Modi Announces next-generation GST reforms

Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an important announcement for the citizens while delivering a speech from the Red Fort on Independence Day today. Referring to the ongoing scheme for street vendors, he announced the implementation of new GST reforms after this year's Diwali. These reforms will reduce tax rates, make transactions easier, and make daily goods more affordable. For this, the government has established a high-level committee, and next-generation GST reforms will be implemented soon.

“Create your own platform. We are dependent on foreign countries for fertilizers, let's stockpile them to reduce this dependency. Also, in the coming times, we should produce EV batteries ourselves.”

The Prime Minister stated that in the last 11 years, entrepreneurship has received a tremendous boost, with millions of startups strengthening the country's economy. This will enable them to take a big step towards self-reliance.

The next-generation GST reforms, which will be implemented after Diwali, will make the tax structure more transparent, ease business transactions, and provide consumers with daily-use items at lower prices. They will accelerate industrial growth and give new strength to the country's economic progress.
