PM Narendra Modi's big message on Operation Sindoor at Bikaner

Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a fiery address in Bikaner, Rajasthan, on Thursday, issuing a stern warning to Pakistan in the wake of 'Operation Sindoor.' Speaking at a large public rally, Modi accused Pakistan of continuing its decades-long policy of terrorism and declared that India would respond with unflinching resolve.

“It is not blood that flows through my veins, but holy vermilion,” the Prime Minister said. “And when that vermilion turns into gunpowder, the enemies of the country are left stunned by the consequences. Those who set out to wipe off the vermilion — we have caught them in the mud.”

The remarks came in the context of a retaliatory Indian military operation following the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Modi revealed that the Indian Army had destroyed nine major terrorist camps inside Pakistan within just 22 minutes. “India has shown the world that we will not remain passive. We will strike back when provoked,” he declared.

Directly blaming Pakistan, Modi said, “For decades since independence, Pakistan has been spreading terrorism in India, targeting innocent civilians and creating fear. Since they cannot defeat us in a conventional war, they have adopted terrorism as their main weapon.”

“But let it be remembered,” he added, “Modi is standing here — the servant of Mother India. Though my mind is calm, my blood boils. India is no longer a soft state. Attacks will be answered — decisively and at the right time.”

On India’s official stance toward Pakistan, the Prime Minister made his position unambiguous. “There will be no trade or dialogue with Pakistan. If there is any discussion, it will be only on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.”

Referring to Pakistan’s failed attempt to attack India’s Nal Airbase near Bikaner, Modi said, “Their effort collapsed. Instead, India’s response struck Pakistan’s Rahimyar Khan Airbase so severely that it’s still in the ICU. Our military has full freedom to decide when and where to retaliate.”

Inauguration of Major Development Projects

During his visit, the Prime Minister also launched several development initiatives. At Deshnok, near Bikaner, he inaugurated 103 newly developed railway stations across the country and flagged off the Bikaner–Bandra Express. Development works worth ₹26,000 crore were either inaugurated or had their foundation stones laid.

Modi also visited the revered Karni Mata Temple at Nal Airbase, offering prayers before addressing a public gathering in Palana village. There, he emphasized his dual agenda of national security and development, assuring citizens that both fronts would remain government priorities.

With strong nationalistic overtones and a clear stance on cross-border terrorism, Prime Minister Modi’s Bikaner visit underscored India’s evolving doctrine of proactive defense, coupled with ongoing infrastructure growth.
