Prasad Lad Slams Sanjay Raut Over Book

As Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut prepares to launch his much-talked-about book "Narkatla Swarg," political controversy has already begun to erupt. The book, which Raut wrote during his time in Arthur Road Jail, has triggered strong reactions from across the political spectrum — notably from BJP leader Prasad Lad, who launched a scathing attack on Raut and the content of the book.

The release of "Narkatla Swarg" is scheduled for tomorrow, but political ripples are being felt even before its official launch. The book reportedly contains sensational claims, sparking a wave of responses from political leaders. Among the most vehement was Prasad Lad, who did not mince words in his criticism.

"Twisted Bandit": Prasad Lad's Sharp Remarks

Speaking to the media, Lad remarked, “I think Sanjay Raut is a scoundrel with a twisted mind. He constantly seeks publicity and makes headlines for his own benefit. Other than appearing in the media, he has no real work.”

Lad went further, targeting Raut’s past involvement in the Patra Chawl redevelopment controversy. “While writing Narkatla Swarg, Sanjay Raut should have also written about how, for 14 years, he kept the poor Marathi residents of Patra Chawl in a living hell. That would have been a more honest book,” Lad added.

Political Storm Ahead of the Book Launch

The release of "Narkatla Swarg" seems poised to ignite fresh political debate. While some within the Shiv Sena have hailed the book as a bold reflection of Raut’s experience and political insight, opposition leaders have dismissed it as a publicity stunt and questioned its intent.

With Maharashtra politics already heated ahead of upcoming civic polls, the book and the reactions it has provoked may add further fuel to the fire.

Whether "Narkatla Swarg" offers genuine insight or serves as political provocation remains to be seen. But one thing is clear — Sanjay Raut’s literary endeavor has already accomplished one thing: it has everyone talking.
