According to the information received, this incident occurred in the area under the jurisdiction of Uttamnagar police station. There was a prior acquaintance between the shop owner and the accused. These young men used to visit the shop regularly. Yesterday, they asked the shopkeeper for cigarettes, but when the shopkeeper refused, the argument escalated.

Initially, these young men left angrily but returned after some time with machetes and threatened the shopkeeper, vandalizing the shop. This attack caused financial damage to the shop, and the entire incident has been captured on CCTV cameras.

After this incident, the police are conducting further investigations and searching for the accused. Once again, the increasing activities of the machete gang have spread unease among the residents of Pune.
