The National Testing Agency (NTA) recently declared the results of the NEET UG 2025, and among the top performers, Krishnang Joshi, a student of Mahavir School, Pune, has made Maharashtra proud by securing All India Rank 3 in his very first attempt. Scoring 681 marks, Krishnang’s remarkable achievement is being lauded across the country.

This year, a staggering 22,09,318 students appeared for the NEET UG exam, of which 12,36,531 candidates qualified. Krishnang’s disciplined preparation and conceptual clarity helped him rise above lakhs of aspirants.

A Journey Rooted in Focus and Determination

Originally from Uttarakhand, Krishnang began his NEET journey while in Class 10. His exposure to competitive exams started after he cracked the ANTHE (Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam), which earned him a 100% scholarship at a renowned coaching institute in Pune.

Krishnang attributes his success to consistent study habits, regular mock tests, and thorough revision of the NCERT syllabus. Physics, his favorite subject, played a crucial role. “Once you understand Physics, you don’t need to memorize it. It’s all about concepts and practice,” he says. This understanding-first approach became the cornerstone of his strategy.

Overcoming Challenges and Staying Motivated

Like every aspirant, Krishnang faced moments of fatigue and boredom with certain topics. However, tracking his performance in mock tests kept him motivated. He credits the unwavering emotional support from his parents and friends for helping him stay mentally stable during his preparation. Although he temporarily gave up hobbies like playing the guitar and cooking, he plans to return to them soon.

In addition to his NEET success, Krishnang also performed excellently in academics, securing 94.8% in his CBSE Class 12 exams.

The Road Ahead: AIIMS Delhi and a Surgical Dream

Krishnang now aims to secure admission into AIIMS Delhi and pursue a specialization in surgery. Sharing his aspirations, he says, “I believe more in manual work. For me, treatment is more important than diagnosis.”

His journey serves as a blueprint for NEET aspirants — emphasizing the importance of time management, conceptual understanding, and emotional resilience.

Krishnang Joshi’s success is not just a personal milestone but an inspiration for countless students across India striving to excel in competitive exams.
