In a historic show of political unity, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray will share the stage today at a joint victory rally to be held at 11:00 AM at the Worli Dome, Mumbai. The rally celebrates the success of their joint campaign against the imposition of Hindi in Maharashtra, which has received wide support across the political spectrum.

Thousands of MNS and Shiv Sena supporters from across the state are expected to gather in Mumbai for this significant event. The rally marks a rare moment of political solidarity, not just between MNS and Shiv Sena (UBT), but also with backing from Sharad Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Prahar Janshakti Party led by Bachchu Kadu, and several other regional outfits.

Prominent Leaders to Address the Rally

In addition to Raj and Uddhav Thackeray, the following leaders are scheduled to speak at the event:

  • Prakash Reddy

  • Jayant Patil (Shetkari Paksha)

  • Supriya Sule (NCP)

Organizers have confirmed that if Congress leaders attend, they will also be given a chance to address the gathering. The rally will conclude with a keynote speech by Uddhav Thackeray, highlighting the joint vision and future strategy of the alliance.

Traffic Disruptions Expected

With massive crowds expected, major traffic diversions have been announced. Both roads leading to Haji Ali and Worli are likely to be shut during the rally hours. To accommodate the overflow crowd, giant LED screens will be set up outside the venue.

Security arrangements have been intensified, and the Mumbai Police have appealed to citizens to plan their travel accordingly.

This rally not only marks a political victory but also sets the tone for future collaborations between opposition forces in the state as they prepare for the upcoming elections.
