In the final stage of the Kawad Yatra on Sunday, various accidents on the same day resulted in the death of six Kawadiyas and injured 20 devotees. There is a large crowd on the Delhi-Dehradun highway and Ganga canal road due to the Kawad Yatra. As a result of this crowd, accidents at various places throughout Sunday caused a stir.

Two accidents on the Delhi Haridwar National Highway in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh claimed the lives of two Kanwariyas and injured eight others. The first accident occurred near Barla Bridge, where two motorcycles collided head-on, resulting in the death of a 28-year-old man. He was heading from Kairana towards Haridwar. In the second incident, another Kanwariya died when two motorcycles collided on the Salimpur bypass.

Then, a severe accident occurred in Ghaziabad on Saturday night at 11:45 PM. A speeding ambulance collided with two motorcycles near Kadbraj on the Delhi-Meerut highway. In this accident, three Kawadiyas died on the spot, while one devotee was injured. According to information, the ambulance was returning after dropping a patient at a hospital in Meerut. Meanwhile, four Kawadiyas heading towards Haridwar died. The administration has urged devotees to be cautious and has ordered strict adherence to traffic rules.
