(Winter Session) The winter session has started today and the winter session of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly will be held in the sub-capital Nagpur from December 8 to December 14. The opposition is preparing to corner the government on several issues.
It is reported that supplementary demands of 75,000 crore have been presented in the winter session. The highest demand has been presented by the Revenue-Forest Department, with a demand of 15,721 crore. Additionally, a demand of 15,000 crore has been made for flood-affected farmers.
Similarly, a demand of 9,250 crore has been made for agricultural pumps, power looms, and textile industry consumers, and a demand of 6,103 crore for beloved sisters. A demand of 2,008 crore has been presented for the transport department, including assistance to the ST Corporation, and 3,000 crore for the Kumbh Mela.
