1. New Limits on UPI Transactions

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has implemented some revised rules to make UPI transactions more secure. A balance check cannot be done more than 50 times a day from a single UPI account. Additional security measures have been implemented regarding the use of Autopay mandate and Address API. These changes are important for system stability.

2. Increase in Aviation Fuel Prices; Ticket Prices to Rise

This news might be a bit concerning for air travelers. Since August, the price of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) has increased by 2677.88 rupees per kiloliter. This consecutive monthly price hike will directly affect airfares.

3. Commercial gas cheaper, household cylinder prices 'unchanged'

The price of LPG cylinders for commercial use has decreased by 33.50 rupees. With consecutive reductions for the second month, small businesses will benefit from this. However, there has been no change in the prices of household gas cylinders.

4. Final opportunity for PNB customers to complete KYC

A final alert has been issued for Punjab National Bank customers regarding KYC, and those account holders who have not completed KYC by June 30 are given an opportunity until August 8. After this, accounts failing the KYC process may face restrictions.

5. Insurance Cover Discontinued on SBI Credit Card

SBI has made an important change for its premium credit card holders. The 10 million rupees air accident insurance cover previously provided on 'Elite', 'Prime', or other specific variants of the card has now been canceled.
