Uddhav Thackeray Hints at MNS-Sena Alliance
Speaking to the media on Friday, Uddhav Thackeray responded to a question about a possible alliance with the MNS, saying, “Whatever is in the minds of the people of Maharashtra will happen.” His comment has reignited discussions in political circles about a potential coming together of the two estranged Thackeray brothers — Uddhav and Raj.
This development comes a day after MNS leader Amit Thackeray, son of Raj Thackeray, reacted positively to the idea of the two factions uniting. On Friday, Sujata Shingade, who had earlier joined the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena faction, rejoined Uddhav Thackeray’s camp. During the media interaction following her return, Uddhav’s remarks on the MNS alliance were seen as a carefully worded but optimistic message.
With both camps seemingly warming up to the idea, political observers believe that a Thackeray family reunion could significantly alter the political dynamics in Maharashtra ahead of the upcoming elections.
