KDMC Hospital: In Kalyan, MNS staged a unique protest with oxygen cylinders and masks against the closure of ICU services in KDMC hospital.

An unusual protest has been carried out by MNS in Kalyan against the closure of ICU services at KDMC hospital. MNS staged this protest wearing oxygen masks. Carrying oxygen cylinders and masks, MNS workers staged a sit-in at the KDMC headquarters.

The ICU service at the Kalyan-Dombivli hospital has been closed for the past 2-3 years, and due to this closure, patients have to travel to Thane and Mumbai. By the time they reach the hospital there, the possibility of something bad happening to the patient’s life cannot be ruled out. In protest of all this, some MNS workers, holding cylinders and wearing oxygen masks, carried out this unique protest led by MNS division president Kapil Pawar and branch president Ganesh Landge. They have also warned that if the ICU is not started soon, they will launch an even bigger public protest.
