Mundhwa Land Scam: Relief for Parth Pawar in Mundhwa land scam case
The Economic Offenses Wing of Pune Police has filed a detailed 1886-page chargesheet in court against the main accused Sheetal Tejwani in the Mundhwa land scam case. As the names of NCP leaders Parth Pawar and Digvijay are not in this chargesheet, Parth Pawar has received significant relief. Only Sheetal Tejwani has been accused in the land scam.
In this case, it was mandatory to file the chargesheet within 60 days to keep the main accused Tejwani in jail, which has been completed accordingly. However, even though the chargesheet has been filed, the further investigation of the case will continue, according to Pune Police. Tejwani is accused of selling government land illegally, and this chargesheet has been prepared keeping all the allegations in the FIR intact.
The Economic Offenses Wing of Pune Police has stated that although the process of filing the chargesheet has been completed, the investigation will continue, and if necessary, action may be taken against other accused as well. This case has sparked discussions in political circles, and attention is focused on the next hearing in court.
