With permission granted for the export of 15,000 quintals of onions daily from India to Bangladesh, there is a possibility of significant growth in this sector. The state president of the Onion Producers Farmers Association, Bharat Dighole, stated that this will boost onion prices and benefit farmers more. He advised the central government not to impose any ban on onion exports. If this happens and other countries continue to import onions from India, onion prices may increase further.
