Navi Mumbai Airport: 'Name Navi Mumbai Airport after Loknete Late D.B. Patil'; Protest in Delhi for this demand

For the main demand to name the Navi Mumbai International Airport after Loknete Late D.B. Patil, a demonstration was held on behalf of the Mahavikas Aghadi MPs outside the Delhi Parliament House on Wednesday under the leadership of Bhiwandi Lok Sabha constituency MP Suresh Mhatre.
In this demonstration movement, MPs of the Mahavikas Aghadi, including NCP Sharadchandra Pawar Party MP Supriyatai Sule, participated. The MPs carried out this movement with placards of their demand in hand, chanting slogans in the name of Late D.B. Patil.
For the past 11 years, there has been a demand from the local sons of the soil to name the Navi Mumbai International Airport after the national leader, the late Di. Ba. Patil. However, the central government is deliberately ignoring it. Until the airport is named after Di. Ba. Patil, various forms of protests will continue, said MP Suresh Mhatre.
The demand to name the Navi Mumbai Airport after Loknete Di. Ba. Patil has been pending for 11 years.
